Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients. Assist physicians in the assessment of patients. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Set up and dismantle equipment. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Clean and maintain equipment. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Maintain inventory of equipment. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Schedule and confirm appointments. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
