Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Complete inspection and test reports. Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications. Advise supervisor or central control operator and process and machine operators of problems and product deficiencies. Grade and label raw materials or finished products. Take samples of products during or after processing operation for routine analysis or for subsequent laboratory analysis. Test products for strength, density, durability and conformity to specifications. Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. Monitor and inspect quality of material produced. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Develop quality management and quality assurance standards. Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests. Personal suitability: Organized.
