Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Document work completed. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Cutting machine. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Team player. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?.
