Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Analyze hair and scalp condition. Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Provide custom hair and scalp treatment. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Supervise apprentices/students in training. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Perform receptionist duties. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Barber Licence. Hairstylist Licence. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle.
