Tasks: Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components. Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.. Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Area of specialization: Cabinets. Built-in units. Furniture. Kitchen cabinets and vanities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Accurate. Organized. Punctuality. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Do you have experience working in this field?.
