What is "Jobs for Ukraine" and how can I participate as an employer?

Jobs for Ukraine is Job Bank’s initiative as part of Canada’s response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Job Bank has set up a simple process that aims to connect Canadian employers with Ukrainian nationals seeking employment in Canada.

If you wish to support Ukrainians with offers of employment in Canada, you can create a job posting that targets Ukrainian job seekers by following these steps:

    1. Create an employer file on Job Bank or sign into Job Bank for Employers if you already have one.
    2. Create a job posting and save it as a draft by clicking on "Save draft" in the upper right corner of the "Job posting - Preview" page.
    3. Fill out this form and include the reference number of your job posting to let us know that you want to recruit Ukrainian nationals. Make sure to include the reference number of your job posting. We will review your information and contact you with next steps.

Note: All jobs advertised through Jobs for Ukraine are publicly accessible and open to anyone who is legally entitled to work in Canada. You may receive applications from Canadian citizens and permanent residents as well as Ukrainian nationals and other newcomers.

Important: Job Bank cannot answer questions about immigration and work permits. For more information, visit Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
