Source Atlantic is seeking a Category Manager to join our team in Saint John, NB. Reporting to the National Purchasing Manager, this exciting role will manage the purchasing and inventory management activities for a segment of our business, representing all locations across the company. Specifically, the Strategic Sourcing Specialist's key responsibilities include:Manage supplier relationships with a focus on inventory management and cost savings initiatives Perform market analysis to ensure sustainable access to both core and innovative productsIdentify and address risks building contingency plans to mitigatePlan and execute strategies to meet Supply Chain Key Process Indicators (KPIs)Direct activities of the operational buyerThe ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:A bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chainSCMP designation is an assetStrong business acumenDemonstrated ability to negotiate and deliver cost savingsKnowledge of inventory managementAbility to work collaboratively across departmentsWillingness to travelUnveiling Your Perks:Secure your place in our dynamic, permanent team, backed by the prestigious accolade of being one of Canada's Best Managed Companies.
