Tasks: Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures. Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems. Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports. Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble. Perform and document routine maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AME «M» Licence - Aircraft. Aircraft experience: Medium turbine helicopter. Small turbine helicopter. Type of industry experience: Commercial air carrier. General aviation. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance - general. Turbine engines. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Team player.
