Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Remote location. Urban area. Medical clinic. Home care and visiting care agency. Hospital or home for the aged. Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients. Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Set up and dismantle equipment. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Maintain supplies. Maintain inventory of equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office.
