Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Livestock combination farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Sheep farming. Odours. Livestock. Potato and vegetable. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Perform animal grooming activities . Track and report on current feed inventory . Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks.
