Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Mushrooms. Potato and vegetable. Tree and orchard fruit. Tasks: Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Seed cutting. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Maintain quality control and production records. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 16-20 people. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Organized. Team player. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for persons with disabilities: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities . Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees .
