Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Private practice. Health care institution, facility or clinic. Clinic. Tasks: Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet. Provide other alternative forms of health care to patients. Diagnose disorders and injuries of the musculo-skeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. Treat patients with manipulative therapy, medications or surgery.
