<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>POSITION:</strong> Pharmacy Technician, CCAPP Approved Education & Certification</p><p><strong>REPORTS TO:</strong> Pharmacist Manager</p><p><strong>LOCATION: ON-SITE POSITION</strong> at 239 SE Marine Drive, Vancouver, and may be required to move to our new pharmacy location at 3411 East Hastings Street, Vancouver</p><p>We are hiring a <strong>REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN</strong> to work at one of our two pharmacies and locations. Please note this is NOT a pharmacist assistant position.</p><p><strong>Marks Marine Pharmacy</strong>: 239 Marine Drive, Vancouver</p><p><strong>Border Pharmacy</strong> (new location opening soon): 3401 East Hastings Street, Vancouver</p><p>The Registered Pharmacy Technician will work closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy assistants in a busy setting. The successful candidate has training and education to perform all pharmacist's responsibilities aside from consultations and counselling patients. In addition, this position will assist with dispensing, pharmacy mathematics, and using pharmacy software programs.</p><p>Becoming a team member is a dream job with a well-known e-commerce Pharmacy with the best reputation in the industry!</p><p>We are known to provide the best service, and part of that service is our mission to ensure Pharmacy Professionals (both Pharmacists and Registered Technicians) are always accessible.</p><p>This position does not involve dealing with the retail public; a high communication volume happens behind the scenes. We are an e-commerce-based business where communication is primarily by email and telephone. A custom software program communicates and navigates an efficient and productive day's work.</p><p>The highest demand is currently for license holders for a variety of reasons. Our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY is to fast-track turnaround time. Given we ship everything, our speed with turnaround time is essential. We require multiple trained staff members to perform technician pre-checks and pharmacist final checks. Our dramatic increase in call volume from Physicians and medical clinics is why we are hiring even more Pharmacists and Registered Technicians.</p><p>In addition to calling to provide verbal prescriptions, Physicians are very keen on our unique business, services, and how we can help their patients. Educating and providing resources and literature help us build relationships with these medical professionals. This service has created exponential growth and high demand for more qualified staff to serve our satisfied patients.</p><p>Please include your resume, and if selected, we will schedule an in-person interview and tour of our Pharmacy operation.</p><p><strong>MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li><p>Pharmacy Technician, CCAPP Approved Education & Certification</p></li><li><p>Can read and translate prescriptions</p></li><li><p>Fast typing skills and abilities</p></li><li><p>Pharmacy experience (3 years minimum)</p></li></ul><p>A successful candidate supports our Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician. You have a positive and outgoing personality and effectively communicate verbally and in writing with staff and physicians over various mediums, including phone, email and text, and computer know-how and knowledge to navigate multiple software programs. In addition, you are a self-motivated, fast learner and can independently do a high volume of work with minimal oversight post-training.</p><p>We place a high value on customer satisfaction.
