Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Utilize hand and power tools. Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents. Repair and maintain equipment. Read blueprints and electrical schematics. Perform diagnostic tests. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Manual dexterity.
