Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Glazier Red Seal Certificate. Glazier Trade Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Type of glass/materials: Acrylic plexiglass. Float glass. Mirrors. Sealed units. Frame fabrication and installation: Curtain wall (prefabricated material). Aluminum framing members. Entranceways. Glass cutting equipment and techniques: Cutting wheels. Self-lubricating cutters. 118 degree wheel. Circular cutters. Cut glass plate manually (straight cuts). Cut glass plate free-hand (curved cuts). Edge glass plates. Notch glass plates. Laminate glass. Tint glass. Installation specialization: Curtain walls. Aluminum storefronts, barrel vaults, solariums, commercial window systems. Overhead automatic doors. Shower doors and tub enclosures. Walls and other interior areas (i.e. partitions).
