Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hot. Noisy. Tasks: Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels. Record information on products inspected. Pack items for shipping and distribution. Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports. Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards. Mark defective parts or products for repair. Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces. Make minor adjustments and repairs. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Nail guns. Precision measuring instrument. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
