Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Accept payment or invoices for items delivered. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Deliver newspapers, flyers to residences and businesses. Prepare, package and restock goods. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences or assemblies. Load and unload goods. Sort packages for delivery. Follow directions and read map. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Set appointments for sales team. Perform administrative tasks. Pay and receive payments for goods. Provide customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
