Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Wet/damp. Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Residential. Tasks: Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Schedule personnel, tools and equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Financial benefits: Commission.- LocationVancouver, BC
