Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Assist chiropractor with patient health education. Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractor. Assist chiropractor with physical examinations. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.
