As a Summer Marketing Assistant, you?ll be part of a friendly, collaborative, and supportive team, gaining hands-on experience across a wide variety of marketing tasks while making a tangible impact. Our Oakville office offers a casual, family-oriented environment where your ideas are welcomed and your contributions matter. *Role Overview:* We?re looking for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Summer Marketing Assistant to join our team for a 4-month term. In this role, you?ll support the marketing team in executing marketing strategies, improving processes through technology, and helping grow brand awareness. You?ll gain exposure to many areas of marketing?from digital campaigns to social media, content creation, and data analysis?giving you a broad, hands-on experience rather than a single specialized task. *Key Responsibilities:* * Assist with data analysis to inform marketing strategies and improve processes * Help create and edit visual content using tools like Canva * Manage social media channels, including writing, photography, video, and engagement reporting * Contribute to content creation for blogs, emails, website copy, and print advertising * Conduct research and summarize findings to support marketing projects * Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas for campaigns * Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed *What You Bring:* * Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments * Capable of working independently and managing tasks with minimal supervision * Demonstrates a proactive, problem-solving mindset * Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Creative thinker who is eager to contribute new ideas * Basic knowledge of graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing is a plus. * Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an asset. *Qualifications:* * Canadian citizen or permanent resident, aged 15?30 (per Canada Summer Jobs program) * Minimum 1 year of marketing experience (internship or work experience preferred) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Fluent in English (written and spoken) *What We Offer:* * A positive, supportive work environment where your personality and effort matter * A close-knit team that values collaboration, kindness, and fun * The opportunity to make a real impact in a growing company *Job Details:* * Job Type: Summer (April - August 2026) * Schedule: 30-40 hrs between 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday * Salary: $19.25 p/hour *Ready to Apply?* *We?d love to hear from you!
