Read blueprints and drawings. Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces. Supervise staff or team. Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement. Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces. Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. Supervision: 3-4 people. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Flexibility.
