Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Type of trucking and equipment: Tow truck. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer. Valid driver's licence. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Hardworking. Experience: Will train.- Location Richmond, BCV6V 1L5
