Thanks to our specialized expertise, our passionate team operates within the same industries as you do, allowing us to better understand your reality and recruitment needs.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company, is looking for a Senior Master Planner to lead the overall master production planning function and manage a multidisciplinary team at the heart of operations. <br> <br>Reporting to an executive operations leader, this individual will play a critical role in balancing customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and operational priorities. Acting as a central point of coordination between operations, procurement, production, and customer service, the successful candidate will ensure the execution of a clear, realistic, and high-performing production plan within a fast-paced and evolving environment. <br> <br>We are looking for a hands-on leader who can make decisions quickly, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and thrive in an environment where tools and processes are continuously evolving and improving. <br> <br>Key Responsibilities <br>Manage and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across multiple product lines and business units <br>Plan production activities based on capacity, material availability, and customer priorities <br>Make prioritization decisions when multiple departments compete for shared critical resources <br>Oversee demand planning, scheduling, and capacity management activities <br>Ensure on-time delivery performance and act as an escalation point for critical orders <br>Collaborate closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams <br>Identify operational risks and bottlenecks while recommending optimization solutions <br>Oversee inventory strategies, including safety stock, reorder points, and cycle counts <br>Produce and analyze KPIs related to supply chain and operational performance <br>Develop and improve planning tools, reporting, and operational processes <br>Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational transformation projects <br> <br>Team Management <br>This role includes the direct management of a team of approximately 8 employees, including: <br>Operational Planners <br>Work Order Controllers <br>Material Analysts <br>Production Coordination Leads</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Profile Sought <br>Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, planning, or a complex manufacturing environment <br>Significant leadership experience within an operational setting <br>Strong expertise in MPS/MRP, demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory management <br>Excellent understanding of manufacturing ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) <br>Strong analytical skills and high level of comfort working with data <br>Experience developing management reports and planning tools <br>Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field <br>Bilingualism in French and English is require</p> <br><br>- Location Longueuil, QC
