Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of production workers who operate processing machines and who fabricate, assemble, finish or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Set up machines and equipment. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervision: 11-15 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
