*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within a friendly and supportive team. *Duties* * Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with health regulations * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling * Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards * Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience * Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service * Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times * Support team members during busy periods by performing various kitchen tasks as needed * Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment *Experience* * Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided * Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus * Experience in cashiering, serving, or restaurant operations is advantageous * Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours * Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry * Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals passionate about food service and dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences.
