Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Engineering mechanics. Tasks: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs. Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems. Prepare reports. Provide technical and professional advice. Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment. Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects. Provide technical support for research. Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
