*About Us* We?re a close-knit, collaborative commercial appraisal office based in Kamloops, BC. Our team includes full-time commercial and residential appraisers, supported by a knowledgeable and efficient administrative team. If you're someone who simply finds joy in being helpfully efficient, you?ll fit right in! *Position Overview* We?re hiring a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to support our Appraisal team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, values precision, and can juggle multiple priorities while keeping their cool. You?ll work closely with our lead commercial admin and the broader team to keep everything running smoothly. *Key Responsibilities* * Responding to client emails and phone calls professionally and promptly * Maintaining strict confidentiality with client files and sensitive information * Opening/closing client files and preparing commercial appraisal reports and letters * Proofreading and reviewing large documents (some reports are 90?110 pages) * Scheduling inspection appointments and managing calendars using Google Calendar * E-invoicing and processing payments (e-transfers, cheques, and occasional credit cards) * Data entry and upkeep of Excel-based databases * Scanning documents, creating PDFs, and preparing hard copy packages for delivery *What We?re Looking For:* * Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Calendar * Attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive or lengthy documents * Multitasking and time management to meet shifting priorities and deadlines * Problem-solving and critical thinking, including formatting and document troubleshooting * Written and verbal communication with effective, clear notetaking * Organizational skills and comfort with file and data management * Adaptability to learn through observation, verbal instruction, and pattern recognition * Initiative to ask questions when something?s unclear, without waiting too long * Familiarity with BC regions and general mapping tools (municipal websites, Google Maps) * The ability to maintain focus while switching between independent and team-based tasks * A positive attitude, willingness to pitch in, and being someone who ?notices? when help is needed *Why Join Us?* * Be part of a friendly and supportive team that values accuracy and integrity * No weekends or late evenings * A chance to work closely with skilled professionals in a busy and respected appraisal firm * A consistent schedule with a workplace culture built on trust, teamwork, and shared wins To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why this role appeals to you.
