Rates may vary based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and project requirements. *Ready to Advance Your Career with a Leading Union Contractor?* A Union Signatory Industrial Painting Contractor is seeking experienced Industrial Painters for projects throughout Alberta. Opportunities may include local work, out-of-town assignments, turnaround projects, shutdowns, and LOA (Living Out Allowance) positions depending on project requirements. We are specifically seeking candidates with extensive industrial painting experience who can contribute as senior painters, lead hands, or progress into foreperson and supervisory positions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, work on major industrial projects, and build a long-term career within the Union construction industry. *For candidates interested in travel and career growth, additional project opportunities may become available in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and other provinces as operational requirements dictate.* *Key Responsibilities* * Perform industrial coating and painting work on a variety of industrial and commercial projects * Complete surface preparation including abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning, coating removal, and related activities * Apply industrial coatings in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and quality standards * Lead crews and coordinate work activities when required * Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards on site * Mentor apprentices and less experienced painters * Complete project documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members * Promote and maintain a strong safety culture at all times *What We're Looking For* * Extensive industrial painting experience is required * Previous foreperson, lead hand, or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset * Experience with industrial coatings, abrasive blasting operations, and protective coating systems * Valid Class 5 Driver's License * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively * Ability to pass Alcohol & Drug testing requirements where required by site or client * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * Proven commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism * Ability to work in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions * Relevant safety certifications (CSTS, CSO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, H2S Alive, etc.) are considered assets *What We Offer* * Competitive Union wages * Pension and comprehensive health benefits * Opportunities for leadership development and career advancement * Work on major industrial projects throughout Alberta * Potential opportunities on projects in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and other provinces for interested candidates * Supportive team environment focused on safety, professionalism, and quality * Opportunities for local, turnaround, shutdown, and out-of-town work with LOA where applicable * Ongoing training and professional development through the Union and employer partners *How to Apply* Submit your resume outlining your industrial painting experience, certifications, and any lead hand, supervisory, or foreperson experience.
