Licensed Optician / Optical Sales Professional* * Eye Optical is a modern, growing optical and optometry company built on professional eye care, advanced technology, and exceptional customer service. * We believe every patient deserves a personalized eyewear experience, from eye examination support to frame styling, lens selection, measurements, fitting, dispensing, and after-care. * Our goal is to combine high-quality optical standards with a warm, patient-focused approach, helping every customer see clearly, look confident, and feel valued. * Eye Optical offers a wide range of eyewear, including luxury, fashion, designer, everyday, budget-friendly, sunglasses, contact lenses, and advanced lens technology. * We are looking for a passionate, confident, and sales-driven Licensed Optician / Optical Sales Professional who enjoys helping patients and loves to sell. * The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering professional service, recommending the right products, and creating an excellent patient experience. *Why Join Eye Optical* * Modern optical and optometry clinic environment * Strong growth opportunity within a growing company * Opportunity to work with premium eyewear, advanced lenses, coatings, sunglasses, and contact lenses * Supportive professional team and optometrist support * Opportunity to work at multiple Eye Optical locations * Competitive pay with strong income growth potential based on performance * Professional environment focused on quality, service, and long-term growth * Opportunity to learn, improve, and grow within the optical industry *Key Responsibilities* * Welcome patients professionally and create a positive first impression * Understand patient needs, lifestyle, prescription, budget, and eyewear expectations * Recommend the best frames, lenses, coatings, sunglasses, and contact lens options * Build strong value in premium lenses, progressive lenses, anti-reflective coatings, blue light protection, transitions, polarized sunglasses, and second-pair options * Custom fit eyewear and ensure accurate frame selection based on prescription and facial measurements * Take accurate PD, segment height, fitting height, OC height, and other required measurements * Adjust, repair, fit, and dispense eyewear with attention to detail * Ensure completed eyewear meets prescription, quality, comfort, and patient expectations * Assist patients with insurance coverage, direct billing, co-pays, and benefit explanations * Support contact lens sales, training, fitting follow-ups, and patient education * Handle patient concerns professionally and provide solution-focused service * Use POS, EMR, computers, tablets, and optical tools accurately and efficiently * Maintain strong product knowledge and stay updated on frames, lenses, technology, and fashion trends * Support store sales targets, conversion, average sale, second-pair sales, contact lens sales, and patient retention * Keep the store clean, professional, attractive, and well-organized * Follow company policies, pricing, promotions, discounts, inventory control, and daily protocols * Maintain a positive working relationship with optometrists, staff, patients, and management * Work with professionalism, accuracy, urgency, and pride in every patient interaction *Qualifications* * Licensed Optician preferred * Optical dispensing experience required * Strong sales ability and confidence in recommending products * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Strong understanding of frames, lenses, coatings, measurements, fitting, and dispensing * Comfortable using POS, EMR, computers, tablets, and optical equipment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good basic math and insurance billing understanding * Awareness of current fashion and eyewear trends * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage busy patient flow * Positive attitude, team player, and desire to grow * Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends *Preferred
