We take pride in delivering safe, reliable electrical services to our customers and communities. *About the Role* We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other administrative accounting tasks. *Responsibilities* * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions * Prepare invoices and reconcile customer accounts * Perform credit card reconciliations * Enter financial data accurately into accounting software * Assist with payroll processing, as required * Maintain organized financial records and documentation * Support quarter-end and year-end closing procedures * Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries * Perform other administrative duties as assigned *Qualifications* * Certificate, diploma, or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field * Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Sage50 accounting software * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team *What We Offer* * Competitive compensation * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Opportunities for professional growth * Benefits package * RRSP package Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Disability insurance * Life insurance * On-site gym * RRSP match * Vision care Work Location: In person- Location Thunder Bay, ON
