Tasks: Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components. Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.. Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Area of specialization: Millwork. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail.
