Job Summary: The Kumon Center Assistant supports the daily operations of the Kumon Learning Center by assisting students, grading assignments, and maintaining an organized, positive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are detail-oriented, and value education. Key Responsibilities: * Grade and organize student worksheets accurately and efficiently * Assist students with basic questions and guide them through Kumon materials * Observe students and report progress or concerns to the Instructor * Prepare and distribute classwork and homework * Maintain a clean, orderly, and quiet classroom environment * Support center operations, including filing, data entry, and material preparation * Communicate politely and professionally with parents and students Qualifications: * High school diploma (or currently enrolled in high school); college students encouraged to apply * Strong skills in math and/or reading (up to high school level preferred) * Ability to work with children of various ages and learning levels * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Positive attitude, patience, and reliability * Ability to follow instructions and work independently Preferred Skills: * Experience working with children or in an educational setting * Familiarity with Kumon method or willingness to learn * Basic computer and clerical skills Benefits: * Flexible part-time hours * Training provided * Supportive and educational work environment * Opportunity to make a positive impact on students? learning Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: From $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person- Location Edmonton, AB
