*Job Description:* *Now hiring in Strathmore!* We are looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team in Strathmore! This is a great opportunity for a student who is interested in optometry, or anyone who wants to gain experience in the field. *Requirements:* * High School Diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 1 year experience working with computers, including experience with Microsoft Office and related software (e.g. Excel) * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, depending on the needs of the doctor and manager * Must be motivated and self-driven, able to work independently, and take initiative without direct supervision If you are interested in becoming an integral part of our team, we would love you to apply! *Responsibilities: * ·Assist optometrist by collecting information about symptoms, medical history, ocular health history, etc., as well as performing pre-testing duties such as auto refraction, OCT and Optomap, under the supervision of the optometrist. ·Assist customers in the selection of eyewear based on their needs ·General administrative duties, such as filing, entering data, confirming patients appointments etc. Kindly apply via Indeed only.
