*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in an acute care environment. The Physiotherapy Assistant will play a vital role in helping patients recover and improve their physical health. *Duties* * Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. * Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks to enhance their recovery. * Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions. * Maintain accurate patient records and document progress as directed by the physiotherapist. * Educate patients on exercises and techniques to facilitate their rehabilitation. * Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred. * Familiarity with acute care practices is highly desirable. * Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. * Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare team. * Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. * Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
