*Job Summary* Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate specializing in Cannabis and Vape products! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your retail skills within a fast-paced, innovative industry. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis, vape, and related products tailored to their preferences and needs * Educate customers on product features, usage, and safety guidelines to promote responsible consumption * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts * Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight product features and promotions to maximize sales opportunities * Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options * Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding age verification, product storage, and sales procedures * Perform heavy lifting when restocking shelves or handling inventory shipments safely and efficiently * Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting by performing routine filing, stock checks, and merchandising tasks * Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers in multiple languages if applicable (English/French) * Manage time effectively to balance customer service with administrative duties such as filing and record keeping *Experience* * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in hospitality or customer service environments that require active engagement with clients * Bilingual abilities (English and French) are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele * Familiarity with POS systems, computer operation, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management * Experience in merchandising, upselling techniques, and organizational skills to enhance store presentation and sales performance * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and cleaning while maintaining safety standards * Strong communication skills for clear interactions with customers and team members alike * Leadership qualities or previous supervisory experience are a plus but not required Join us to be part of an exciting industry where your energy makes a difference!
