<p><strong>This is a fully remote position</strong>, open to candidates based in Canada.</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $70?$90/hr</p><p><strong>Role Title:</strong> PhD Physicist</p><p><strong>Role Type:</strong> Contractor</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote</p><p>We are engaging PhD Physicists to contribute their expertise to a customer?s project focused on advanced physics research and AI training. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required ? your domain knowledge is what matters. Contributors will investigate the laws of matter and energy, develop and elucidate physical theories, and play a pivotal role in teaching, evaluating, and articulating complex scientific concepts. This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about research, critical analysis, and scientific communication.</p><p><strong>Scope of Work</strong></p><ol><li>Conduct deep-dive research on fundamental and applied physics topics, exploring the latest developments in the field.</li><li>Analyze experimental data and interpret findings to support the formulation of robust physical theories.</li><li>Develop clear, detailed explanations of complex scientific concepts for AI system evaluation and instruction purposes.</li><li>Assist in the creation and curation of physics-related educational content for AI training modules.</li><li>Critically review and assess AI-generated content for conceptual accuracy, clarity, and scientific rigor.</li><li>Collaborate remotely with project stakeholders to refine deliverables and ensure alignment with project objectives.</li><li>Provide written and verbal feedback on research outcomes and physics-related queries as part of an iterative AI training process.</li></ol><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ol><li>Doctorate (PhD) in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in conducting rigorous scientific research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.</li><li>Strong foundation in theoretical and experimental physics, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas.</li><li>Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with a passion for science education and outreach.</li><li>Experience in developing or delivering physics instruction at the university or advanced undergraduate level is a plus.</li><li>Comfort engaging in collaborative, remote research and contributing to multidisciplinary projects.</li></ol> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Apply here with your Indeed profile.
