<p><strong>This is a fully remote position</strong>, open to candidates based in Canada.</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $50?$90/hr</p><p><strong>Role Title: Sociology Teachers, Postsecondary</strong></p><p><strong>Role Type: Contractor</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Remote</strong></p><p>the company is selecting Sociology Teachers, Postsecondarys to contribute their disciplinary expertise to a customer's education-focused project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required ? your domain knowledge is what matters.</p><p>Scope of Work</p><ol><li>Design assessment tasks rooted in sociological concepts, ensuring prompts are clear, measurable, and suitable for application by third-party educators.</li><li>Create high-quality rubrics that precisely align with each assessment task, incorporating established pedagogical frameworks such as Bloom's taxonomy.</li><li>Review and provide detailed, actionable feedback on a variety of educational materials, promoting clarity, rigor, and authenticity.</li><li>Synthesize relevant sociological literature and research to inform task and rubric development, ensuring academic integrity and up-to-date content.</li><li>Document rationale and criteria for each assessment and rubric, supporting transparency and transferability across educational contexts.</li><li>Collaborate asynchronously with other domain experts and project stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication.</li><li>Support ongoing improvements by iteratively refining materials in response to peer and project feedback.</li></ol><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ol><li>PhD or ABD in Sociology or a closely related discipline.</li><li>Active record of teaching and research/publication at the postsecondary level.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in developing high-quality assessment tasks and rubrics as part of your professional practice.</li><li>Deep knowledge of pedagogical principles, including Bloom?s taxonomy and other assessment frameworks.</li><li>Strong analytical and synthesis skills with experience distilling complex sociological theories into clear, actionable educational content.</li><li>Proven ability to give constructive feedback and review peer work objectively.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clarity and academic rigor.</li></ol> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Apply here with your Indeed profile.
