We are looking for an Industrial Spray Painter with a minimum of 5 years experience in applying automotive quality paints. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. * Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. * Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish. * Use and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and other tools. * Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. * Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly disposing of hazardous materials. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications. * Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and report any issues to management. * Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus. * Previous experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role preferred. * Proficient in the use of painting tools and equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers. * Knowledge of different paint types, surface preparation techniques, and application methods. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot painting issues. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to painting and hazardous materials. HOURS: * 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday * Some overtime as needed JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Must have good English language skills * Experience with the use of both electrostatic and HVLP spray guns * Experience in the sign industry is an asset. * Some overtime will be required as needed. * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. * Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. * Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces. * Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
